Science fiction-dystopian ideas

This page is still a work in progress which means we need to read more sci-fi/dystopian!  Fahrenheit 451 a popular classic for a reason should be on everyone's TBR pile.  Published in 1953 Ray Bradbury's masterpiece of a dystopian bleak future has one goal; burn all books and the houses in which people hide them.  Just under two hundred pages Fahrenheit 451 on Amazon.com is a fast read packed full of Bradbury genius.   Quote, "Fahrenheit 451 - the temperature at which book paper catches fire, and burns..."

Fiery  centerpieces  for your Fahrenheit 451 book club

What you will need:
Vases -  a dollar store
Print  Google book images on translucent paper (regular copy paper will work)
Ribbon - craft store
Glue -   decoupage glue
Lights - battery operated or LED fairy lights

Cut and glue images on vases (don't worry the glue will dry).  Add ribbon around the bottom vase to hide the battery pack.  Add lights for dramatic effect.  Place on your burned book page table runner (see below) for a dystopian good time!

More centerpiece ideas.  Wrap up any hardcover books you have with brown parchment paper and add quotes from the book on the spine
