Every summer I get that Grease movie song stuck in my head. Summer lovin' have me a blast...summer lovin' happened so fast. The dog days of summer are finally here! Hopefully, much of our vacation time will be well spent by the pool or on a sandy beach chilling out with that one perfect book.

You might be asking yourself, 'What do I read?' or 'What am I in the mood for?' These are the questions that haunt us every summer as we are reading ready to find that novel and just relax and start our bookish adventure. 

What do you consider an awesome summer read? Are you into an outdoorsy, newly released novel like Wild by Cheryl Strayed? or maybe a challenging classic that is over a thousand pages long that will take you all summer to finish such as  War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy?  Maybe a sizzling romance on a tropical island but with a twist such as, On The Island by Tracey Garvis Graves? 

​Whatever your reading tastes may be for the summer below are a few cool reading ideas that you can take to the beach, on an flight to your destination or just sitting around the backyard pool under a striped umbrella.  With any luck, by the end of your summer, you will be singing the finish of Grease's Summer Nights...Summer dreams, ripped at the seams. Bu-ut oh, those summer nights!
