Thankful for books and book friends! The Book Club Blogger
Thanksgiving is fast approaching and so starts the busy holiday season. As my book club starts our annual holiday read I still have time to squeeze in a novel that reflects what Thanksgiving is all about, thankfulness. What better way to reflect on gratitude than to read about those that live today, yesterday and long ago.  Amazing lives and trail blazers that should be celebrated on their heroic experiences that eclipse anything I can ever accomplish or hope to be.

Biographies blow me away and I will admit our last biography, The Boys in the Boat did just that. The hard work, grit, and determination made me feel slothful after reading this inspiring novel.  Biographies can transform your life and motivate you to achieve the impossible dream!

So as I chew on what biography/memoir to sink my eyes into I asked my book loving friends what were some of their favorite biographies as well as past book club hits we've read...
